Mark your calendar: Jessamy Get out the Vote Rally featuring Kweisi Mfume as MC & other special guest!
Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm @ Jessamy Campaign Headquarters, 5109 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212 BRING or SEND at least one potential volunteer to the Rally. Volunteers can be from Baltimore City, Baltimore County or any where, it does not matter, as long as they are willing and able to work for the re-election of State's Attorney, Patricia C. Jessamy on September 14, 2010.
WE NEED YOU ON ELECTION DAY-Volunteer|, http://bit.ly/bqOKoZ . Volunteers are still needed to work election day (Sept. 14, 2010). Also, if you have a student who needs Volunteer Community Services Hours, volunteering to work for the campaign is a way for those students to gain those hours. Speaking to a packed house, on a rainy Sunday afternoon, Baltimore City State’s Attorney Patricia C. Jessamy declared to hundreds of supporters that with their continued support she will be successful in her re-election bid.
“We believe in people. We will prevail and you can count on me,” she assured the enthusiastic crowd at the Baltimore Rowing Club at her annual birthday sailabration.
Among the guests were Lt. Governor Anthony Brown, Congressman Elijah Cummings, Delegate Shirley Nathan Pulliam, Delegate Barbara Robinson, former Mayor Sheila Dixon, former State’s Attorney Stuart Simms, and Councilman Carl Stokes.
Since Jessamy became State’s Attorney in 1995, crime has decreased drastically, according to Uniform Crime Reports issued by the FBI and Maryland State Police. In fact, UCR crimes have decreased by 59% under Jessamy’s leadership. In 2009, the Homicide Division of the State’s Attorney’s Office had a conviction rate of 74%. It is clear that Patricia Jessamy has a proven track record of reducing crime in Baltimore City.
The veteran prosecuter credits her staff, the ability to work collaboratively with other crime fighting agencies and her innovative crime fighting strategies for the office’s on-going success.

in honor of Patricia Jessamy's 62nd Birthday, The Friends of Patricia Jessamy invite you to come out and celebrate with us at the Baltimore Rowing Club.
Over the years this annual Barbecue/Cookout has grown immensely and has been acknowledged to be one of the best summer gatherings in Baltimore. With a primary and general election in Baltimore City this year, I am sure we can look forward to a very interesting gathering!
We will again be entertained by the fantastic Panama Band, and as in the past, the food served at the Barbecue/Cookout will be prepared by James (Jim) Britton and his fabulous team from Class Act Catering.
Keeping with the tradition, tickets for adults are the same as my birthday age—this year $62/adults ($25/children ages 12 and under—no charge for infants ages 3 and under).
